Fèis Inbhir Narainn

 

The photo was taken at Nairn Community Centre, and shows members of our recently established Youth Ceilidh Band alongside Phil and Aly.

 

 

(FIN) is a community based charity promoting traditional Scottish music and song to all age 8 to adult through the provision of high quality teaching.

 

Fèis Inbhir Narainn provides classes for children and adults (of all abilities) throughout the year in fiddle, guitar, accordion, whistle, keyboard and chanter.  Instruments are available to hire.

 We also organise a Feis (festival) with Music workshops, Groupwork sessions, Jam session and Ceilidh, with our Tutors and Guest musicians (All day Saturday 25th February 2012 at Nairn Community Centre).  A booking form will be added soon !

Feis Inbhir Narainn promotes the appreciation of traditional music and further supports the local economy by organising events including professional music gigs in Nairn

Feis values the voluntary support of its committee members and funding and advice from Feisan Nan Gaidheal, Highland Council, , Highlands and Islands Enterprise. and Scottish Arts Council
